Terms & Conditions

 Payment may be made as follows:

  • Credit/Debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo. Credit/Debit card. Credit card details may be sent separately e.g. phoned (we do not except card details via email) 
  • By cheque made payable to MK Lamps Ltd. Your order will not be dispatched until the cheque is cleared
  • Money transfer - payment via bank


Shipping And Handling

WE ONLY SHIP TO UK MAINLAND

All orders of £50 or more including VAT are sent to UK Mainland free. Orders of less than £50 Inc. VAT will incur a £8.00 delivery charge including VAT 

You will be advised of delivery after placing your order. Our usual hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00 pm. Once the goods are dispatched you will be notified and in most cases given our carriers tracking number to follow the progress of your order.
 
Most orders are dispatched by City Link courier. You can track your parcel with a tracking number or contact them on their website www.city-link.co.uk

All products in stock are dispatched on a next working day delivery service. Any items not in stock with us but in stock with the manufacturer are usually dispatched within 2-5 working days on a next working day delivery. We will contact you if there are any longer delays. If your order is urgent or needed by a certain date please contact us to inquire the lead time by phone or email, or add details in the comments box at the checkout when ordering.

Returns Policy

MK Lamps Ltd has a 7-day returns policy for all products on our website. You must inform us in writing by email: sales@mklamps.co.uk within 7 days of receipt of your order (the date of delivery will be recorded by our carriers) that you wish to return goods or if you have any damages, faults or shortages. MK Lamps Ltd can not accept responsibility after this period.

Goods must be returned in their original packaging in a resell-able condition, complete with all other associated components sent with them i.e lamps, boxing, bags. Also enclose proof of purchase.

Non-damaged goods should not have been installed, modified or used in any way and should be in an undamaged condition. The goods, components and packaging must be packed in a resell-able condition.

For unwanted items the cost of carriage incurred for sending the goods out will be deducted from the refund and the customer is responsible for any return carriage costs.

MK Lamps Ltd has the right to make up to 25% handling and restocking charge on any specially ordered items that cannot be returned to the supplier/manufacturer. You will be refunded shortly after the goods has been received back from you and when the goods have been inspected to make sure the goods are in the same condition they were sent in and all components and packaging is all intact.
We also reserve the right to charge a restocking fee for items that have had to be specially ordered in from a supplier and cancelled before shipping.

We have the right to refuse refunds for failure to meet the above criteria

The above do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer
 
Design Alterations And Product Information
 
Although we update images and measurements as best as possible lighting products are subject to change from lighting manufacturers without prior notice. Colour finishes are maintained as accurately as possible, but matching cannot be guaranteed. Measurements stated are approximate from lighting suppliers and are a guidance only.
 
Price Beater
 
If you do find a product cheaper elsewhere we will beat any legitimate price (excludes eBay and other Auction sites). We reserve the right to refuse any offer, the product must be proven to be exactly the same model and make. The price must also be proven, please e-mail sales@mklamps.co.uk and describe the product(s) in question and proven price.
 
Tax Charges
All prices shown online are including VAT unless otherwise stated. For orders made from the UK 20% VAT is automatically added.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998)

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us and we do NOT share any of your personal information with other companies.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
